Yorkshireman Graham Oliver of famous heavy metal band Saxon has teamed with up vintage to bring us a faithful recreation of his first true love from 1972. Vintage took great attention to detail when making this guitar, focusing on things like the neck angle, heel length and neck set to keep that authentic feel which hangs comfortably and plays just right. The pickups had to be spot on too, designed by Wilkinson hardware they kept the Peter Green inspired reverse neck pickup with high output providing a booming voice for pinched harmonics, whilst the bridge pickup is offers a high gain crunch sound in the bucket loads. Even the legendary Dimebag Darrell took notice of the setup of the pickups and it inspired to create his sound. Graham Oliver says he can retire his original after searching 30 years for a replica, and now you can own a truly unique guitar, that's got a wicked sound and great attention to detail.
