1) Important Notice (Consumer Rights)

This Warranty Policy is provided in addition to your rights under Malaysian law. Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Act 599).

2) Warranty Eligibility

2.1 Not Transferable

This voluntary warranty is ordinarily valid for the original purchaser and is not transferable unless the manufacturer or distributor states otherwise. This does not restrict any statutory right that may apply independently of this warranty.

2.2 Valid Purchases

Your product must be purchased from LBS Music World Malaysia retail outlets in Malaysia and/or from our online shop: https://www.musicworld.com.my.

2.3 Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, invoice or warranty document, the warranty is normally valid for one (1) year beginning on the delivery or collection date (“Warranty Period”).

2.4 Malaysia Only

Warranty service is administered in Malaysia unless stated otherwise on the product page or warranty document. International customers may need to return the product to Malaysia, subject to the applicable warranty terms and any mandatory rights under the laws of their country.

Proof of Purchase Required: The original purchase receipt/invoice must be presented upon request.

3) What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and includes eligible parts and labour. Following assessment, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement or another remedy required by applicable law. Comparable or refurbished parts may be used where lawful and appropriate without reducing mandatory consumer rights. Replaced defective parts may be retained by the manufacturer, distributor or service centre.

4) Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Contact our After-Sales Service Support: 012-585 5100
  2. Provide proof of purchase, product model, serial number (if applicable), and photos/videos of the fault
  3. Our team will advise drop-off/service arrangement

All products must be assessed by our technician to confirm eligibility prior to approval.

5) Service Timeline

Warranty repairs require diagnosis/testing and may involve spare parts ordering (local or overseas). Timing varies depending on brand and parts availability. We will update you once service status is confirmed.

6) What Isn’t Covered? (Lost Work / Consequential Issues)

To the extent permitted by law, this voluntary warranty does not cover indirect or business losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, including lost studio time, lost profits or lost work.

Nothing in this section excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, consumer guarantees, or any liability or remedy that cannot legally be excluded. We will take reasonable steps to complete an approved repair as promptly as parts availability and technical assessment allow.

8) Incidental Charges

For a verified incorrect, damaged or defective product reported within the applicable return period, reasonable return or redelivery costs will be handled as stated in our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law. For later warranty claims, transport, inspection and consumable charges will follow the manufacturer or distributor warranty terms and will be disclosed before you incur a charge.

9) Uncollected Products / Abandoned Items

Please collect your product promptly after we notify you that it is ready. If it remains uncollected, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you using the details supplied. After at least 90 days and reasonable written notices, reasonable storage charges may apply and we may take further steps permitted by Malaysian law. We will not dispose of a product or exercise a lien contrary to applicable law.

10) Voucher Payments

A portion paid using a voucher issued by an external party will normally be returned using the same voucher method or another method permitted by the voucher issuer, rather than cash. This does not limit a refund or remedy required by applicable law.

11) Items Damaged In Transit

Inspect the parcel and product as soon as reasonably possible. Report shipping damage promptly, ideally within 48 hours, with photographs of the outer box, shipping label, packaging and damage. The 48-hour request helps us pursue a courier claim quickly but does not remove any statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

12) Governing Law

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia. For international customers, this does not exclude mandatory rights that apply under the laws of the customer’s country and cannot legally be waived. Nothing prevents an eligible Malaysian consumer from using the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia or another available remedy.
