The EON618S is a powered portable PA subwoofer in the EON600 series from JBL Professional. It has been designed to deliver class leading performance in a variety of applications supporting EON600 and other full range systems. A lightweight, highly useful enclosure allows the speaker to be easily transported and set up wherever low frequency reinforcement is needed.

The extraordinary performance of the EON618S is the result of an innovative approach to waveguide design. JBL engineers examined the radiation characteristics of EON's high- and low-frequency conductors at 36 different points using JBL's exclusive, state-of-the-art measurement techniques, and then designed the image control waveguide ensuring that the radiation sound level and the coverage pattern match at the high frequencies, the crossover point, and the low frequencies. The result is a consistent response throughout its 110 degree coverage pattern. The quality and consistency between on-axis and off-axis response offers uniform coverage and high intelligibility throughout the coverage area.
