The SR375E features a double cutaway maple body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez PowerSpan passive pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a Power Tap switch and a three-band EQ, an Accu-cast bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a plastic nut and Ibanez tuning machines.

Ibanez's SR series of electric bass guitars has long been regarded for its sleek lines and fast playability. The SR375E's body boasts that iconic sculpted design that seems to naturally hug your body without getting in the way of your performance. The SR neck features a narrow nut and thin contour, aiding in quick string skipping and moving up and down the fretboard with ease.

For 2018 the maple and rosewood neck was replaced with maple and walnut and the rosewood fingerboard was replaced with jatoba. For 2021 a new Sapphire Blue finish was introduced.
