The AF Patch is made using a Kevlar™ and polyester lamination. It offer extreme durability and enhanced beater click. The stress-relief slots around the edge ensure the thickness of the patch won't choke the head by allowing the patch to flex with the natural motion of the head.

Evans EQPAF1 is an Aramid Fiber bass drum patch that provides unsurpassed durability and emphasizes attach characteristics. Four radial slits along the perimeter allow the head to vibrate naturally for better tone and feel.

Evans Bass Drum patches are applied directly to the bass head which allows protection of the head for increased durability.
