The new AB590MF is a new bass addition of mini bass with an open pore finish. Bass players who record in the home studio will find this short-scale bass an ideal instrument to lay down musical sketches when the inspiration suddenly strikes. The AB590MF also features the Fishman Presys II pickup/preamp system so it can also be used live for small acoustic ensemble type of application.

ALL MAHOGANY MODEL

Developed in accordance with recent acoustic guitar market trends, this model features not only mahogany back and sides but mahogany top as well. Although darker sounding than spruce, mahogany produces a warmer tone with a full rich mid-range.

628mm (24.75") SCALE

With their shorter necks, less distance between frets and more compact general dimensions, short scale AB590MF is a choice for young players and anyone challenged by the extra reach a long scale instrument requires.

FISHMAN ISYS PLUS EQ

Features 2-band EQ, LED tuner and phase control along with Sonicore pickup for the signature Fishman sound.

BLACK OPEN PORE FINISH

The new AB590MF is a new bass addition of mini bass with a black open pore finish. The natural open pore finish not only looks striking with its mix of wood grains but provides the player with a more direct contact with the resonating woods.

12FRET NECK JOINT

The 12th fret neck-body joint not only imparts a classical look but produces a strong low-end and surprisingly loud volume for a guitar of its compact size.
