ProMark DFP210 (Soft): Features a soft rubber head. It is ideal for a warmer, muted tone on xylophone and provides a softer articulation on the lower-mid range of a marimba.

ProMark DFP230 (Medium): Features a medium rubber head. It offers balanced articulation on xylophone and is ideal for a "softer tone" on xylophones and mid-upper range marimba.

ProMark DFP250 (Hard): Features a hard rubber head. It provides maximum, bright articulation on xylophone and is best for the upper range of a marimba.
