MIDIPLUS AMP·73 Analog Microphone Preamplifier with Switchable Transformers
The new professional microphone preamplifier AMP•73 from MIDIplus, supports microphone, instrument, or line inputs with a maximum gain of up to 80dB, suitable for professional recording studios, home studios, or stage scenarios.
High Performance Microphone Preamplifier
AMP•73 incorporates advanced microphone preamplifier technology, delivering lower noise levels, reduced total harmonic distortion (THD), and a higher dynamic range even at low gain settings.
Audiophile-Grade Components
The AMP•73 is equipped with a high-performance, ultra-low noise, high-slew-rate, flagship professional operational amplifier (Op-Amp), audio-specific capacitors, and high-precision, low-temperature drift metal film resistors. Through precision circuit design, it achieves ultra-low harmonic distortion, precisely captures the emotional nuances and overtones of vocals/instruments, and ensures the original characteristics of audio signals are preserved. With a more natural tonal quality, it delivers a multi-dimensional immersive experience tailored for professional recording.
80dB of gain on tap, A dedicated output control knob allows precise adjustment of output volume from 0 to 100, 8-Segment LED Level Meter provide real-time feedback.
Multi-mode Input
DI Input can connect to Dynamic microphone, Hi-Z instrument (e.g. Electric Guitar) or line-level device, and features a Line toggle swtich that easily switching to Line in mode.
Features XLR connectors equipped with secure locking clips to prevent accidental disconnection during cable insertion or removal.Provides a dedicated switch for activating or deactivating 48V phantom power, which allows for flexible control over condenser microphone operation.
Provides more recording flexibility
PHASE switch corrects phase distortion and addresses other issues to accommodate diverse input requirements across various devices. PAD switch enables -20dB attenuation of the input signal to prevent overloading of high level signals.
Jason Transformer
A customized input transformer Designed by Jason for professional audio applications, offering superior shielding to minimize HAM noise and deliver pristine, nuanced sound quality. Supports simultaneous or independent activation of “transformer in” and “transformer out” functions, allowing warm signal enhancement via the transformer or clean bypass transmission for versatile applications.
Half-Rack Design
By using rack ears and mounting bracket (sold separately) for rack mounting. Two AMP•73 units can be linked using the joining plates.
