The AEG70 features a thinner grand concert shaped body with a soft Venetian cutaway. The top is laminated flamed maple with black and white binding on sapele back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black & white acrylic rosette. It has a satin finish nyatoh neck with a 25 inch scale, 20 fret walnut fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a walnut bridge, Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez T-bar II undersaddle pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ-TTS preamp with onboard tuner and LCD display powered by a 9V battery and ¼ inch stereo output jack.

Ibanez AEQ-TTS preamp w/Onboard Tuner
The small and simple preamp has only two control knobs, volume and shape. This at a glance tone control offers natural acoustic sound in the center position. It allows players to adjust the tone easily and enables them to go from low, fat and powerful tones to a bright and crisp sound while adjusting only one knob. A new easy-to-read onboard tuner with LCD(liquid crystal display) is located on the preamp.

Ibanez Advantage bridge pins
These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins.
