The AKG D7 is a reference dynamic vocal handheld microphone built for artists and audio engineers in clubs, concert venues, and worship houses to capture vocals and instruments with condenser-like sound. A super-cardioid polar pattern for excellent off-axis rejection of audio across the frequency spectrum is presented by the laminated dual-layer Varimotion diaphragm. 

Thanks to a frequency response of between 70 Hz and 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 147 dB, the D7 provides accurate sound even from the loudest sources. To further minimize interference from electrical devices and to ensure that your recorded sound comes out with minimal noise, a hum-compensating coil is added.
