Meet NUX Artist Zieha: Photoshoot and Interview with the NUX DM-8
Our team began the day early in the morning, travelling from Penang to Ipoh, Perak, for a special photoshoot session with NUX artist Zieha and the NUX DM-8 Professional Digital Drum.
The session was organised to capture a collection of professional photographs and video content featuring Zieha with the DM-8, while also giving us an opportunity to learn more about her musical journey and experience as a drummer.
Meeting Zieha in Ipoh
After arriving in Ipoh, we met Zieha around noon at the photography studio. The team prepared the NUX DM-8 digital drum and arranged the equipment for the day’s photo and video production.
Zieha brought great energy and enthusiasm to the session, making the entire photoshoot enjoyable and comfortable for everyone involved.

During the session, Zieha posed and performed with the NUX DM-8 Professional Digital Drum while the production team captured a variety of promotional and lifestyle photographs.
The photoshoot highlighted the DM-8’s modern appearance, professional setup and performance-focused design. Different playing positions, angles and expressions were captured to showcase both Zieha’s personality and the drum kit’s stage-ready appearance.
As an experienced drummer and performer, Zieha was able to present the instrument naturally while demonstrating the confidence, passion and energy of a NUX artist.
Exclusive Interview Session
Besides the photoshoot, we also conducted a short interview with Zieha. During the conversation, she shared more about her background, musical journey, performing experience and passion for drumming.
We also discussed her experience using NUX instruments and what she enjoys about performing with the NUX DM-8 digital drum.
The interview allowed us to discover more about Zieha beyond her performances and provided an opportunity for her to share advice and encouragement with other musicians, especially young and aspiring drummers.
Lunch and Meaningful Conversations
After completing the photoshoot and interview, the team headed to a local restaurant in Ipoh for lunch.
It was a relaxing opportunity for everyone to enjoy some local food and have a fun conversation outside of the studio. We exchanged ideas, shared experiences and discussed future content and possible activities involving Zieha and NUX Malaysia.
The friendly conversation made the trip even more memorable and helped strengthen the relationship between the artist and the team.
A Productive and Enjoyable Day
The photoshoot session with Zieha was both productive and enjoyable. From travelling to Ipoh early in the morning to completing the studio session and sharing lunch together, the day was filled with creativity, music and meaningful conversations.
