Yamaha Guitar Day 2026 Celebrates 60 Years of Yamaha Guitars
Yamaha Guitar Day 2026 was held on 9 May 2026 at LBS Music World, Bayan Lepas, Penang, bringing guitar enthusiasts together for an afternoon of live demonstrations, performances and hands-on musical experiences.
Organised in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Yamaha guitars, the event welcomed beginners, experienced players and music lovers to discover Yamaha’s guitar range while learning directly from professional musicians and product specialists.
Special Appearance by Yamaha Guitar Experts
The event featured special appearances by Syuwari, Yamaha Guitar Ambassador, and Daryl, Yamaha Guitar Specialist.
Throughout the session, both guests shared their playing techniques, musical experience and knowledge of Yamaha guitars. Their live demonstrations allowed the audience to hear the unique tones and performance capabilities of different guitar models in a real playing environment.
The friendly and interactive presentation also gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and gain practical advice about guitar playing, tone selection and choosing a suitable instrument.
Live Guitar Performances and Demonstrations
One of the highlights of Yamaha Guitar Day was the series of live guitar performances featuring different playing styles and sounds.
Syuwari and Daryl demonstrated various Yamaha electric guitars, showcasing their versatility for different music genres and performance settings. The audience was able to experience the instruments’ tone, feel and response through both solo demonstrations and collaborative performances.
These sessions provided a closer look at how Yamaha guitars can support musicians during practice, recording and live performances.
Hands-On Guitar Experience
Participants were also invited to try selected Yamaha guitars during the event.
This hands-on experience allowed visitors to explore the instruments personally, compare different models and receive recommendations from the Yamaha and LBS Music World teams.
Whether they were searching for their first guitar or considering an upgrade, participants could better understand which model matched their playing style, preferences and musical goals.
Connecting Penang’s Guitar Community
Yamaha Guitar Day created an enjoyable space for guitarists and music enthusiasts in Penang to meet, exchange ideas and share their passion for music.
The event encouraged musicians of different skill levels to learn from one another while building stronger connections within the local guitar community.
Participants also had the opportunity to meet the guest artists, take photographs and bring home memorable experiences from the afternoon.
