Penang Lang Community Day 2026 at Sunshine Central Penang
The Penang Lang Community Day 2026 was held from 27 to 28 June 2026 at Sunshine Central Penang, bringing families, local businesses, performers and community organisations together for a lively weekend of culture, entertainment and interactive activities.
Presented by Penang Walkabouts, the two-day event featured live stage performances, food and retail booths, cultural showcases, dance presentations, children’s activities and community programmes suitable for visitors of all ages.
LBS Music World was pleased to participate in the event with a dedicated MEDELI musical instrument exhibition booth, allowing visitors to discover and experience a variety of digital keyboards and electronic drums.
MEDELI Digital Keyboard and Drum Exhibition
At the LBS Music World booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore a selection of MEDELI instruments designed for beginners, students, home musicians and performers.

Hands-On Musical Instrument Experience
Visitors were encouraged to try the MEDELI instruments throughout the weekend.
Children, students and adults had the opportunity to play the keyboards and electronic drums while learning more about their sounds, functions and suitability for different musical levels.
The hands-on setup allowed visitors to compare various models and experience how digital instruments can be used for music lessons, home practice, creative exploration and live performance.
The booth also created a welcoming space for beginners who wanted to experience playing a musical instrument for the first time.
Live Drum Performance by Bernardine J
One of the highlights of the second day was a live drum performance by Bernardine J, presented on the main stage using the MEDELI MZ729 electronic drum kit.
The performance demonstrated the MZ729’s dynamic response, expressive drum sounds and suitability for live musical settings.
Bernardine’s energetic playing attracted the attention of the audience and gave visitors an opportunity to hear the electronic drum kit in a complete stage performance rather than only experiencing it at the exhibition booth.
Influencer Jing Jing Beh Tries MEDELI Digital Drums
Malaysian content creator and influencer Jing Jing Beh also visited the MEDELI booth during Penang Lang Community Day 2026.
During her visit, she experienced the MEDELI digital drums and joined the interactive musical activities at the booth.
Her participation helped create a fun and engaging moment for visitors while introducing electronic drumming to a wider community audience.
Celebrating Music, Culture and Community
Penang Lang Community Day 2026 featured a diverse programme of cultural and artistic activities, including traditional dance, live music, instrumental performances and community presentations.
The event created a platform where visitors could discover local culture, support participating organisations and enjoy meaningful activities with their families.
By including interactive musical instruments alongside stage performances, the event also encouraged more people to explore music and experience the enjoyment of playing an instrument.
Bringing MEDELI Instruments Closer to the Community
LBS Music World was delighted to be part of Penang Lang Community Day 2026 and to introduce MEDELI digital keyboards and electronic drums to visitors at Sunshine Central Penang.
From the hands-on instrument experience and live product demonstrations to Bernardine J’s stage performance and Jing Jing Beh’s booth visit, the event provided many opportunities for the public to connect with music.
