UOW Technicolour Multicultural Festival 2025 – Malaysia’s Premier Cultural Celebration
The UOW Technicolour Multicultural Festival 2025 was held on 13 & 14 June 2025 (Friday & Saturday) at UOW Malaysia University College’s Batu Kawan Campus, bringing together students, families, and the wider community for a vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and creativity. The festival highlighted the richness of multicultural traditions through performances, cuisine, art, and community activities.

A Celebration of Diversity
The festival showcased traditional dances, music, and cultural performances representing various communities. Attendees were treated to an inspiring blend of heritage and creativity that highlighted the beauty of Malaysia’s multicultural identity.
Competitions & Activities
With a wide array of contests — including drawing, illustration, theater, short film, choir, solo and duet singing, poetry and song, combo, recorder & drum, orchestral, and symphony competitions — participants of all ages had the chance to shine. These activities provided a creative platform for students and performers to showcase their talents.
Entertainment & Attractions
The lively atmosphere was further enhanced by 50+ food trucks, 20+ food stalls, fun fair games, and 30+ booths. Special appearances by Mickey & Minnie delighted families and children, while interactive zones gave visitors engaging hands-on experiences.
Music & Performances
Live bands, traditional ensembles, and contemporary acts filled the day with energy and excitement. The performances were elevated by professional-grade instruments and sound systems, ensuring every detail was heard with clarity and impact.
