Midas DN4888 is a professional StageConnect interface designed to provide seamless analog I/O expansion for modern digital mixing environments. It features eight balanced line-level inputs and eight balanced line-level outputs on XLR connectors, making it an ideal solution for integrating wireless microphone receivers, in-ear monitor transmitters, or external outboard effects into a digital workflow. As part of the StageConnect ecosystem, the device can transmit up to 32 channels of uncompressed 24-bit PCM audio with sub-millisecond latency over a single standard XLR or DMX cable.

The unit offers significant flexibility through its master and slave operating modes, allowing it to function as a central hub or a peripheral expansion module within a daisy-chained network of StageConnect devices. In addition to its analog connectivity, the DN4888 includes two Ultranet outputs, which enable direct integration with Behringer P16 personal monitoring systems and Turbosound iQ series loudspeakers. This allows for efficient signal distribution from both the StageConnect bus and the local analog inputs.Built for the rigors of the road, the DN4888 is housed in a compact 1U rack-mountable chassis.

It supports versatile power options, capable of being powered via the included 12V DC adapter or remotely through the StageConnect cable itself when connected to a master device. The rear panel also features a USB port for straightforward firmware updates, ensuring the interface remains compatible with evolving software and hardware standards. With high-quality A/D and D/A conversion and a wide dynamic range, the DN4888 ensures that audio fidelity remains uncompromised across complex stage and studio setups.
