The ULTRACURVE PRO DEQ2496 is a high-precision 24-bit/96 kHz digital EQ and RTA mastering processor designed for both live sound and studio mastering applications. Whether you’re fine-tuning a PA system or adding the finishing touches to a mix, it provides meticulous control with an extensive suite of tools. At its core, the DEQ2496 combines powerful equalization, dynamics, feedback correction, stereo imaging, limiting, and delay into a single versatile unit. It features dual 31-band graphic EQs, dual virtual paragraphic EQs, and dual 10-band parametric EQs per channel, all phase-neutral and highly adjustable down to 1/60 of an octave. The dynamic EQ function adapts to changing volume levels, while the integrated Feedback Destroyer with Learn mode instantly detects and eliminates problematic frequencies.

Mastering tools include a stereo imager with width, asymmetry, rotation, and shuffle functions, as well as a fully featured compressor/expander and limiter. A digital delay with independent left/right control allows precise alignment of sound in both studio and live environments. The onboard FFT real-time analyzer, SPL meter, and Auto EQ function provide detailed frequency analysis and automated system tuning.

Connectivity is flexible with balanced XLR I/O, AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O, optical output, RTA mic input with phantom power, MIDI integration, and wordclock input. Up to 64 user presets can be stored, recalled, or customized with individual module variations for maximum workflow efficiency.
